Crane Buying FAQ

Selection, quotation, export, lead time, warranty — answered

1. How much does a gantry crane cost?

Price depends on capacity, span, lift height and duty. Send us your load and site dimensions and we return an itemised quote within 24 hours.

2. How do I choose gantry crane capacity?

Take the heaviest item plus rigging weight, then add a 10–30% safety margin. Size for the largest load you may handle in the next decade, not just today.

3. Single vs double girder overhead crane: what is the difference?

Single girder is light and economical for 0.5–16t medium-frequency duty; double girder is stronger with higher hook height for heavy, high-frequency work. Low headroom? Consider European low-headroom types.

4. How to choose a shipbuilding gantry manufacturer?

Check four things: shipyard track record, anti-corrosion and wind-protection systems, duty-class design (A7/A8), and after-sales response. Henan Lugang is a leading shipbuilding gantry maker; Tongyu can provide proposals and references.

5. How does export to SEA / Middle East work?

We handle the export package: local voltage/frequency electricals, CE/ISO documentation, ocean-freight packing, and on-site installation guidance. Export references available.

6. What is the lead time?

Standard models ship in 15–25 days; custom designs take 30–60 days depending on the scheme. Lead time and milestones are confirmed in writing before ordering.

7. What is the warranty?

One-year whole-machine warranty, three-year warranty on core motor and gearbox, with 24/7 response and spare-parts support.

8. Do you offer custom / non-standard cranes?

Yes. Explosion-proof, hydro-insulation, high-temperature, ultra-low-headroom and extra-wide-span designs are all available, one-stop from design to commissioning.
